Dr. Brown received his Doctoral degree in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2000. He received his Master's degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Louisville in 1995. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spring Hill College in 1992.

Currently he is an Audiologist in a private practice setting with an emphasis on auditory, retrocochlear and vestibular diagnostics. The private practice includes dispensing of hearing instruments, assistive listening devices and a minor role in aural rehabilitation. Almost 50% of the practice is now devoted to pediatric audiology.
